COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remarkably bright with a crisp hop finish, Fish Tale Organic Pale Ale is a beautifully balanced jewel of brewing. Its four organic malts impart a mellow sweetness that’s amply matched by Yakima Cascade hops. Pale ale enthusiasts will treasure this ale as much as they love Cascadia, the beautiful land that inspired it!

Nice hoppy aroma, not as strong as desired but sweet mild and pleasant. Average lasting head on beer. Taste is hoppy enjoyable a bit watery in mouth feel. Nothing special, but certainly not bad a decent beer.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear golden with very little head that dissipates quickly to a few bubbles. The aroma has floral notes, a bit of a citrusy note, but nothing defined. The taste is lightly bitter with a toasted malt balance. Meh.

"a little thick and overly malty for the style imho. didn’t really care for it. seems to me like this brewer is hit or miss but the couple organics i remember off hand were a slight miss."

A little light on aroma and flavor, and light on hops too. Good hot weather beer, nice mouth feel. Appearance rather dull, finish slightly metallic.

Draft at brewery. Pours clear amber with white head. Citrus, resin, caramel on the nose. Taste: toast, cereal, biscuit/cracker. Lightly sweet, light-moderate bitterness. Medium- body. A bit floral. Pretty nice pale.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a hazy orange colored body with a one finger white foamy head that rapidly dies within about twenty seconds, clingy lacing circles the glass and takes a while to spider web, though a hazy body, some carbonation is seen rising. The smell had burnt citrus, and a little bit of biscuit. The taste was mainly sweet through the citrus, tries to be bitter but kinda comes through in a bland way, slight citrus aftertaste, slick finish. On the palate, it was light, sessionable. Carbonation is pretty light and smooth, different for the style, but not bad to me. Overall, this is not bad for an APA, but not the greatest APA on the market, would I have this again? Unsure for the most part, but I guess the thing its got goin’ for it is that its organic, that’s if you like that sort of thing.

Draught in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a mostly clear light amber color. Nose was pretty light on this one, though I could get a little bit of floral elements to it. Taste was decently bitter with a nice bite. OK.

Bottle courtesy of Pedro. Pours a hazy brownish orange with thin, diminishing beige head and soapy lace. Nose of caramel, bread, citrus. Medium to light body, more citrus flavor than aroma but dominated by the malt.

Hazy orange pour with frothy head. Nice fragrant aroma mainly from the hops. Not much flavor though. A little malt and a little more hops. Dry finish & high carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours bronze gold and hazy, almost caramel in color, with a fat, foamy yellow-white head. Some nice webbed and wet lacing. Aroma is mildy earthy and floral but there is not much to it. Taste is quite subdued, though creamy, with only a touch of caramel malt and some hop bitterness towards the finish. Improves with warming, but just drinkable (and sessionable) and not memorable. Chug - no need to sip! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2013 Bottle. Slightly hazy dirty yellow pour with a small head. Hops taste a bit old. Bit of cardboard over the top of some muted floral and citrus hops. Pretty watery as well.
