Deep black with thick moka head dissipating fast. Sweet soya sauce aroma with vanilla and chocolate. Chocolate and coconuts in mout, with milkey notes. Oily mouthfeel, Very fruity as it warms up, like currant or cherries. Nov. 28 2004 at MartinT.

Thanks to mike for share some time ago. Pours a dark brown body with a tan head. Thin mouth feel with some chocolate coco caramel malt. Light hop seasoning. A bit sour with etoh coming through in a nice punch. Dark fruit a bit of cherry. Oxidized slightly but still a good brew.

750 ml bottle @ liquid sunshine tasting - thanks to yonkers65 )i think) for this one; 2002 vintage; jet black, thin body; oily, tan head; aromas of chocolate, coffee, some sourness; body is thin with tart flavors; slightly oxidized and showing some age; chocolate and roasty-ness has faded; nice to try, but seems past its prime

750 ml bottle 2002 vintage shared by axilla or miver, I think. Anyway, thanks guys! Pours dark brown with a tan head. Nice smelling impy shows a bit of oxidation, chocolate, caramel malts, wood. A bit thin on the mouthfeel but still delivers a silky smooth finish. Very enjoyable.

750 ml bottle 2002 vintage poured a translucent black with ruby highlights and a small lasting brown head. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, cherries, grapes, earthiness, raisins, light coconut, light wood and hints of leather and spice. Palate was light to medium bodied and crisp with a lightly tart finish. Flavors of wine grapes, bitter chocolate, earthiness, carmel, light roastiness and light wood with a smooth lingering lightly tart vinous finish.
