BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Dec 21, 2004 Cask Pint @ Kahootz Pub & Eatery in Meridian, ID Tan creamy head, black color. Nose of fruity roast, heavy coffee & dark chocolate. Taste is full of roast & sweet smoke. A bit of bitterness is kicked up but it’s a very smooth drinking beer. Nice lacing around the glass. Finishes roasty, sweet, balanced, good! Creamy, nice level of roast really breathes through your nose. Underlying lactose like fruit sweetness in the distant tail. jcwattsrugger (4045), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Nov 13, 2007 on tap-pours a thin tan head and black color. Aroma is coffee, dark malt-licorice, oatmeal. A bit astringent. Taste is coffee, dark malt-licorice, oatmeal, a bit astringent from the hops. Not my style but nice. OK carbonation.
