COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is the Cascadian ale brewed for the season of celebrations. Very pale and full bodied with a rich flavor imparted by Pale and Honey malt and assertively friendly hop character. The hop profile is quite distinct, featuring 100% Yakima Chinook hops in the kettle for bittering, flavor and aroma. In fact, this is the hoppiest beer yet from the Mighty Fish Brewers, and perhaps the hoppiest Winter seasonal you’ll have the pleasure to taste this year.

Pours a light brown with a nice foamy white head, and good lacing on this one. Big hops (chinook, I can tell since my American strong ale has almost the same aroma) in the nose, and it dominates. No other aromas really detectable. Those hops come right back at you in the flavors. Strong at first then mellows just slightly, then finishes bitter. The hops pretty much own this beer through and through. Though, I do like the beer (hophead), it does seem pretty one dimensional. I'll probably get another one (or sixer) to "test" out again.

Orange-amber, hazy. Dense, yellowish head. Nose gives first caramel and cocos, later fine hops, spicey. Taste are hops, very bitter, liquorice aroma, but without the sweetness. And then: whole black cardamoms (Baadi Eilaachi)- the spitting image - euh, flavour. Maybe some allspice too. Full mouthfeel. Dry-out effect from the hops and the spicey character keep reigning. Another one which is overloaded on hops. Yet, this black cardamom flavour raises the profile several notches up. Quite interesting really. Yakima Chinook they say?

This beer is hops to the max. Aroma has notes of citurs but is still dominated by sweet hops. Flavour is overloaded with hops, too much for my liking but if hops is what you want, then you'll get it here no doubt.

Loved the hops in this one. Aroma of citrus and a flavor to back it up. I like hops, I liked this beer.

Creamy and hoppy. Looks a little on the pathetic side sitting there in the glass...pale and with almost no head. I don't normally like mega-hoppy beers but this one has layer after layer of complexity, rather than just prompting the drinker to say "Well, gee, duh, how'd they get the beer to smell and taste so hoppy? Hoohaw!" The malts are well built too; at first a defining sweetness, and then an entourage of caramel flavors.

I know this is a cliche, but this beer "packs a wallop". Looks like cooked pumpkin. As I got to the bottom of the glass, it got way yeasty and "sorta nasty."

Healthy orange colour with a nice beige head. Doughy/yeasty aroma. Bready flavour with late hop citrusness leading to a dry bitter finish.

Medium off-white head, with lots of particles distributed throughout the orange body. Nice lacing rings left as the beer is consumed. Aroma is both grapefruit and floral hoppy. Flavor is pleasant piney hops, some grapefruit, and rounded off well by decent malts. Fairly dry finish. Bitterness lingers nicely.

On tap, a bit too chilled. Different from any winter I had tried up to that point, not what I was expecting. Interesting though. Very hoppy, gives it a great aroma but too bitter for me. Bit too grapefruity as well. I am not entirely sure what makes this a winter seasonal. Assertive though.

Cloudy amber with large lasting white head.Citrus hop nose.Lighlt malt, then bursts into a grapefruit hop palate.Lingering finish that tapers off nicely in strength
