12 ounce bottle. Hazy Amber orange color. Foamy beige head. Toasted caramel malt nose. Slightly sweet, fruity toasted malt upfront. Medium bodied with a caramel apple nuance. Tangy notes in midtaste. Slightly dry finish. Overall, just a pedestrian amber ale.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Medium cooper hue, average white head. Caramel with a dry tannic/woody character, moderate pithy bitterness. The label is far better than the beer itself.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a clear Amber body with a small fizzy beige head. The nose is toasty and dry with a minima hint of hops. The flavor is too heavy on crystal malt for my tastes though, too much residual sugars and too little hoppiness. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Not up my alley as far as the style goes.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at Fish Tale, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, balanced between dry bready caramel malts and resinous hops. Flavour is along the same lines, but pretty restrained in all departments - bready caramel malts and light bitterness. Boring but inoffensive.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz bottle, spawned Aug 2014.
Amber in color, thin tan head, patchy lace.
Light caramel aroma. Flavor is malty, with a slight metallic note. Thin body, short finish. True to style, but style is not very complex or interesting.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pretty mediocre beer. Pretty average. Dark bread aroma, great smell but disappointing flavor. Looked unfiltered. Hit on the front tip and back of the palate.

Bottle from Wegman’s. Pours hazy amber glass color with 1-finger, creamy, off-white head. Nose is caramel malt, hops, some earthy and brown sugar notes. Tastes caramel malty, with some brown sugar, tart earthy tannins, and corn flakey finish. A decent but ordinary amber ale.
