3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours two fingers of head on a hazy medium straw colored body.
The aroma is tropical fruit forward (mango and pineapple) with some pine and grapefruit in the background.
The taste is nicely balanced. Some pineapple sweetness, a bite of lemon bitterness in the middle and finishes on a little honey sweet note.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
It has great balance in both smell and flavor.

Nothing really stood out to me. It would probably be better enjoyed at room temperature.

Fish Tale Vicious Circle Amber Ale is a decent brew that falls on the red ale side. Deep red pour with a light tan head. Light aroma of caramel. Taste is also caramel and not much else. Vicious Circle is pairs well with foods and won’t overpower.

This beer isn't bad, but I can't imagine I'll remember much else about it other than a "I drank this once" kind of experience. It's s nice color and smells fine, but its smooth taste is about all it has that stands out. Solid beer, not great.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark amber, clear, good beige head, nice looking brew in the glass. Lightly roasted malt, earthy, hints of toffee. Nutty lightly sweet malts, traces of Milk Chocolate, Caramel ,Allspice & mineral salts, like a Candy Apple, has a mild bitter follow. Certainly nothing to get excited over, I’m not a huge Amber Ale fan but this is a decent beer.

3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent copper with a beige head. Aroma: malty, nutty, chocolaty - but not strong in any particular. Med body or so. Carbonation is strong, so the flavors were confused at first - but then it went amber. Not very bitter; definitely malty. Finishing with sort of nut/chocolate - mildly.

A very nutty and sweet malt flavor dominates. Smooth with a long and lingering finish. Pretty average for the style.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle from Kumiyama AEON Mall liquor shop. Thin roast malt nose, some fruitiness. Dark brown/amber color, thin tan head. Sweetish malty initial, gets candyish very quickly as sweetness intensifies. Light bittering in mid and final. Thin body, near watery. Thin in all aspects, except color and sweetness. Okay.
