robertsreality (2462), Minnesota, USA Sep 12, 2004 Honey Coloring. Small Head. Good Aroma.. Fruity. Wheat is not Overbearing.. Nor the Apricot...Actually a Very Tasty Beer, as it’s Balanced Very Well.. Very Easy to Drink. badgerben (2989), Blaine, Minnesota, USA Sep 1, 2004 Pours a lighter shade of gold with minimal head. Fruity aroma, but not necessarily of apricot. It just seemed "fruity" as opposed to any particular kind of fruit. The taste had a wonderfully subtle tinge of apricot and wheat. The wheat is very hidden and takes a while to expose itself. Very tasty! whiterabbit81 (235), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Nov 20, 2003 I really enjoy this fruit beer. It has an absolutly wonderful apricot aroma and flavor. Drinking this beer is akin to taking a giant bite out of a fresh, juicy apricot. It's really that tasty. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA Sep 20, 2003 Color is a solid cloud of pale yellow, fluffy solidly thick white head thats sits about a pencil width high and sustains well throughout consumption and leaves lace sticking in tiny spots. Aroma is of a fresh light apricot and apricot skins, quite nice, I just so happen to really like apricots so the smell was dead on, just a bit to light, I want more. Anyways...taste has fluffy wheat grain sweetness thats nice and soft and there's a milding sense of fresh apricot and has a nice velvety apricot skin dryness in the finish thats light and playful. Pleasant, smooth, and easy sweetness with a close to medium body feel and light wheaty texture. Refreshing and a bit on the lighter side and has a nice drinkablity, its just a tad shy of memorable. Getting close to the Pyramid version which I really like and don't mind have'n around for beatin' the easy summer heatin'.
Slick (1956), Minnesota, USA Sep 7, 2003 Updated: Jan 18, 2004MABR-Cloudy golden color,Wheaty apricot aroma, with a light wheat taste and semi-strong canned juice taste,it didn't seem to have a good flavor of apricot just tasted kind of processed. It's worth trying but little else.
