This is an excellent example of an Apricot wheat. A pleasant surprise. Very refreshing and quite tasty.

Sample at Fitgers in Duluth. A tasty beer. Sweet light, taste of fresh apricots and hefeweizen. I would like more of this.

Hazy yellow. Glorious apricot--I love it when the fruit really shines through in a authentic (not artificial) way. Fresh, yummy, drinkable. Fizzy. I’m such a sucker for a well-made fruit beer. (on tap at brewpub)
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 troyc (2014) - Oklahoma, USA - NOV 5, 2009
[Tap] Part of the brewpub sampler. Pours a cloudy dark golden color with a nice amount of white head. Fantastic lacing. Aroma is heavy on apricot. Lighter notes of vanilla were present as well. Taste includes lots of real-tasting apricots. Notes of nutmeg, vanilla and cinnamon were in there as well. Very nice body and great balance for the style. Very tasty!

Pours a hazy orange gold with thick white head. Aroma is definitely apricot and sugar. Flavor is mild apricot/yeast with a sweet spice. Well-balanced.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 DalzAle (1460) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - AUG 16, 2009
Growler pour. Hazy orange colored pour, little carbonation and rich apricot aroma. Flavor is funky yeasty wheat, apricot and finishes a little on the sour side. One of my favorite apricot beers, I just wish I didn’t have to drive 2-3 hours to pick it up.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 zer0crew (119) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 9, 2009
On tap at Fitger’s Brewpub in Duluth, MN. Pours a hazy orange, has a very wheaty smell with hints of fruit. The taste has some apricot in it, but it’s more of a muted/background flavor. The primary flavor is of wheat, with possibly some other fruits that give it a very sweet taste.
I’m not generally a big fan of apricots, but this is a good brew!
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 kbutler1 (1115) - Minnesota, USA - OCT 3, 2010
Draft at Autumn Brew Review. Pours a slightly hazy orange yellow color with a nice white head. The aroma is very fruity with the apricot and then also has some wheat type notes as well. Medium mouthfeel. Pretty sweet up front with some lingering bitterness as well. Really nice drinker. I could drink this one on a nice hot summer day.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2008
Tap at the pub. Lots of apricot in the nose. Fairly sweet, with aproicot and bread coming threw. Im not huge on the fruit aspect of this, but does have that apricot jam aspect that is tasty in small doses.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 PattyBoy (302) - North Liberty, Iowa, USA - JUL 8, 2005
Very nice apricot aroma. Flavor was mostly apricots with a little wheat. I thought the flavors were nicely balanced. Apricot flavor was not as strong as Pyramid Apricot Ale, which I thought was a good thing. I enjoyed a growler of this while on vacation on the shores of Lake Superior. That may have influenced my rating, but I enjoyed this brew and would have liked to have sampled some more brews from this establishment.
