On tap at Fitger’s Brewpub in Duluth, MN. Pours a dark golden color. Smell has only trace amounts of hops, with the flavor being similar. Not to bad, but it doesn’t stand out in my mind, especially against the El Nino IPA and the Starfire Pale Ale.

On draught at the brewpub in Duluth, Minnesota. Pours a clear golden amber colored brew with a nice off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some nice lacing and a white ring. Aroma of citrus zest, a hint of grapefruit, caramel malt and a touch of white pepper. Taste is medium bodied, some carbonation with flavors of citrus zest, a hint of caramel malt and grapefruit. Finish has a mild bitterness that slowly disappears. A pretty nice American pale ale with out the heavy citrus.
