Great beer which is worth having more than once. It is great especially nice and fresh at the brewery. It is well worth picking up a growler to enjoy.

Love how the taste lingers. Darker and heavier than my typical grapefruit IPA love, but one of my favorite Fitger's Brewhouse beers.

Growler sample shared with oakbluff. Typical IPA orange in colour with medium carbonation. Classic aromas of white grapefruit, grass clippings, and a bit of caramel malts. Hop forward in the mouth as well, with the citrus, white pepper, and cut grass notes blending with a solid pale and caramel malt backbone. Medium bodied, with a chunky and building bitterness. A solid example of the classic American IPA style, but the bitterness became somewhat opressive by the end of the first pint.

Included in a sampler at the brewpub. Everything in the sampler was solid. I do not remember the particulars for a few of these though.

Has some nice citrus scents as well as some nice Carmel/toffee sweetness. Taste is grapefruit and the bitterness builds in the after taste, not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a clear gold with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is quite dank with note of onion and pine backed by some sweet grains. Flavor again has a good amount of onion and pine with some underlying sweet grains.

FURLYSURIOUS (262) - Orono, Minnesota, USA - APR 24, 2012
Pours a deep copper orange with a healthy dose of milky, off-white head and nice lacing and beading. The nose is big on sweet citrus, honey, caramel, really nice. The taste brings waves of all kinds of bitter: grapefruit, orange peel, spruce, some booze, pretty complex, multidimensional. Pretty low drinkability due to its comparatively high bitterness. But all around, a terrific beer.

On tap at Fitgers. A nice IPA. Hoppy, citrus, bitter. Grapefruit. Dark amber colour.

On tap at the GTMW 2011. Clear amber with a slowly disappearing rocky tan head. Aroma of aggressive resinous hops, floral hops, citrus and crystal malt. Taste of hi alpha resinous hops, pine, crystal malt, orange and a touch of floral hops and alcohol. Balanced and decent with a moderate to high bitter finish.

Growler. Pours dark amber with a foamy kahki head that dissipates to a film. Aroma caramel malt and faint grapefruit spuce. Taste is bitter grapefruit and caramel with a faint metallic taste (hoppy bitterness). Palate is medium to full and sticky with a sharp dry finish. Well done IPA!
