Draft at the brewery. This is a ruddy-looking beer and starts like many D/IIPAs; overall itís drinkable, but side by side with their flagship pale ale, I prefer the pale ... this has a nutty aspect that takes over that didnít tickle my palate in the right way. (#5676, 8/29/2014)

On tap at brewpub. Sweet strawberry and fresh orange hops aroma with some faint caramel in the background. Clear orange-amber under a lasting, lady, white sheet. Medium bitterness and caramel flavor with resinous hops bitterness and strawberry-grapefruit peel. Medium body, moderate carbonation, slight lingering bitterness.

Dark amber / copper pour from a growler obtained last weekend. Nice white head and lots of white lacing. Big lovely hoppy nose with a hint of citrus and malt. Big earthy and spicy hops in the taste with a strong bitter finish. Full mouthfeel. Nice.

Poured from a growler. Aroma is pine, citrus, and caramel. Flavors are pine, lemon, citrus, orange peel, and a very light malt. Very nice Ipa, pretty balanced not to bitter at all. My first fitgers beer loved it!

Filtered orange-tan. Nice dry strong hop mouthfeel. A solid US IPA, above par. Full bodied and bittter, the filtration really lets the hops shine.

jcr (2208) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - JUN 29, 2013
Draft. Light amber body. Frothy, off-white head. Aroma of leafy hops, flowers, pine, perfume, resin, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Taste of pine, orange peel, light resin. Lingering bitterness. Citrus hop flavors help balance the raw leaf, resin taste. Hint of orange juice in the finish.

Great beer which is worth having more than once. It is great especially nice and fresh at the brewery. It is well worth picking up a growler to enjoy.
