COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American style wheat. Very smooth and rich with a nice dryness from the high percentage of wheat. A special blend of a Wheaten Birthday Lager and Long Tall Hefeweizen created this seasonal tipple.

Had this one on draught as part of the sampler flight at the brewery in Duluth, Minnesota. Cloudy dark orange pour with a filmy white head, dry crisp hoppiness in the nose, banana, orange and cloves in the taste. Finished clean. Very interesting!

On draught at the Fitger’s brewpub in downtown Duluth, MN. Pours a semi-hazy golden pale colored brew with a thin white head that quickly dissipates to a thin ring. Aroma of multi-grain malt, some wheat character, apples, yeast and some banana esters. Taste is quite sweet, full bodied, with flavors of golden grain malt, a hint of candi sugar, banana esters, a hint of clove and some alcohol. Finish continues a sweet aftertaste with a candi sugar and golden grain aftertaste. The best to describe this is a Belgian dubbel character with a lager yeast flavor.

Tripplebrew (740) - Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA - OCT 22, 2008
Pours a very hazy golden with very thick white head. Aroma is earthy/mineralish. Spicy notes of cardamon with tiny hints of clove. Flavor is wheat with mild undertones of bananas and minerals at the forefront. Body is creamy with high carbonation.

Pours a murky burnt orange amber color with only a thin wisp of bubbles for a head. Subsequent and more aggressive pours provide an inch or so of sudsy cream colored foam and provide decent webby lacing, but rob it of some carbonation (which it can ill afford). Mild light sweet wheat in the aroma. Interesting tangy wheat flavor up front is followed by a brief touch of caramel apple that then fades to a dry cereal malt and some hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body, scant carbonation, lingering pine hop bitterness in the aftertaste. It is growing on me, I like it better with each sip.

Growler. Dark orange color that starts to resemble mud. Spices and apricot adorn the aroma with a healthy measure of wheat just to make sure you know what you’re getting into. Big malty flavor with bitter wheat sitting atop. Kind of a vegetable ring on the end. It tasted stronger than 5.4%.

Thick deep orange pour, with soapy opalescent ivory head. Lemon and sage aroma, with touches of coriander and some berry sweetness. Delicious, sweet honey and bread, olive oil, with sweet lemony fruit notes. Perfect body, with lucious sugary tones and sweet lightness. Very drinkable.
