   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 13/20
Skyview (4880) - Papoose Jct, USA - MAY 27, 2007
On tap at the Fitgers Brewhouse in Duluth, MN, pours a coppery red amber brew with a white fast dissolving head. Aroma of raisins, dark pitted fruit, roasted malt and flowery hops. Taste is slightly acidic, medium body, tangy to the tongue and a little dry. Finish is high flowery hop bitter and then watery. Almost near an IPA character.

BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 23, 2007
Citrus hop on the nose with sweet dark fruit mingled in the nose (WTF?). Orange colored brew with faint white head clinging to the sides. Bitter hop body with a faint floral character. Tastes and smells more like an IPA, but still a damn good beer.

robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 23, 2005
Brown Coloring with White Ring. Piney Aroma. Unfortunatly Carries Over to Tongue...Piney/Hop Presence Without Much Malt to Balance it. Watery Overall..Needing Some Refinment.

badgerben (4116) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 14, 2005
Dark amber color with a medium dishsoap head. Not what I would consider a refined pale ale: both the aroma and taste are burdened by an overblown hop and Pine-sol presence. A bit watery and unbalanced.

   AROMA 6/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 5/10   PALATE 2/5   OVERALL 10/20
auerbrau (2668) - Peace Dale, Rhode Island, USA - APR 8, 2005
Cask. Murky honey colored almond pour, with thick creamy white, overflowing. Likely such a fine, smooth head due to the cask. Light waft of mellow cheese and honey. A watered down pale ale with not much depth. Starts with peachuy sweetness and finishes slightly oaky dry. Vary watery palate.
