On draught at the Fitger’s brewpub in downtown Duluth, MN. Pours a clear copper amber colored brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a thin white ring. Aroma of toffee, caramel, some red licorice and a wee bit of alcohol. Taste is medium to full bodied, flavors of caramel, a hint of apple and some light rice vinegar. Finish is slightly metallic from higher alcohol content with a caramel and light apple aftertaste.
