On tap at Burrito Union. #1700! Pours a lightly hazed pale golden, with a super creamy khaki head. Super dank, juicy, hop insane aroma in Cascade and other C-hops. WOW! Flavor continues. Super gummy, juicy, ragingly fresh hop sugar. Man, Fitger’s does the best hoppy beers. This is intensely insane. Crisp, backed with a bit of cracker and fresh beyond belief. Wow. A top IPA for sure. Really great to see that Fitger’s is still at it!

On draught during the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a hazy golden amber colored brew with a creamy off-white head that has some nice retention and lacing. Aroma of citrus and grassy hops, a hint of caramel malt, and some grapefruit. Taste is medium bodied, a touch of spicy white pepper, citrus zest and grapefruit. Finish has a lingering mild bitterness, yet still a smooth texture finish. Well done.

Clear Golden Color. Very Piney Hop forward flavor along with toffee and malty notes; A bit imbalanced with the heavy hops. Mouth is also a bit light and watery but easy to drink still. Overall a solid IPA despite some shortcomings, worth checking out if you’re ever in the Duluth area

On tap at St Paul Summer Beer Fest 2009. Poured nice copper with white head, smelled of nice citrusy hops, had a good hop forefront that finished nice and bitter. Nothing too fancy, but a very solid IPA.

[On-tap at Burrito Union] Pours light amber with a small, long-lasting off-white head. Aroma is very nice with citrus fruit (lemon/lime), and faint notes of mango. At times this reminded me of a gummy candy that I have had, but with fresher citrus qualities. Malt is detectable, but not nearly as noticeable as in the taste, where it is very pronounced and lasts long into the finish. Medium mouthfeel, smooth, and had a decent length finish. Overall, a solid IPA that was good, but not spectacular. I would like to see a touch more citrus taste rather than just bittering effects from the hops in the finish, and the mouthfeel could be a bit fuller, but otherwise I could drink a lot of this.

Very light amber pour, off white head. Aroma of floral hops, grapefruit peel, caramel. Flavor is up front hoppy, some earthy/spicy hops yield to a more bitter citrus flavor and then a big bite of malt. Chewy and good.

Pours an amber-haze color. Good hoppy taste, pretty well balanced. Very drinkable summer beer.
