3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 OSLO (1133) - Ames, Iowa, USA - JUL 8, 2010
[On-tap at Fitger’s] Pours pale golden with a small, long-lasting white head. Aroma is crackery, floral hops and bready notes. I like it, but simple. Huge cracker again in the taste, with a sweet, honey component. Average mouthfeel, with a long finish. Maybe it is because I hadn’t expected much out of it, but I was pretty impressed with this. Really sessionable, and although not amazing, it was still the surprise of the night.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BVery (2554) - Burnsville, Minnesota, USA - JUL 2, 2010
Tap. Clear yellow pour with a small white head. Soft pils aroma. Taste is mild hop, lemon, maybe some cracker. Decent summer brew.

On tap at the brewpub. Light faint malty aroma. Plain. A bit lemony. Pours a very pale clear gold. Little head. Flavor is a generic, slightly flaccid wet pilsener malt. Not fresh or snappy. A bit of hoppy cracker flavor. Some higher fermented lager fusels. Wet. Okay.

Sample at the brewpub. Light gold color with a white head. Slight lemon aroma, very clean. Light grassy flavor with a nice bitterness, but smooth at the same time.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 detroiter (958) - Euphoria, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2007
the beer is a nice golden color, fairly clear, and topped by oh - a quarter inch of whitish foam. Maybe a half inch in subsequent pours. Soft and slightly sweet aroma. A little malty, a little hoppy. Nothing really stands out.
Smooth is an understatement. Malty and hoppy at the same time - good balance. Sweet toasted malt stands out, but at the same time the beer has a nice dry quality to it. Subtly spicy hops, a hair of lemon bitterness. Not quite medium body, very ample carbonation.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Pigfoot (2267) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 28, 2006
Hazy golden hue, slimmish layer of foam...
Sharp, citric nose, big time spice in here, saison-like, nice and lovely...
Zesty on the tongue, hoppy, bumping with fruit, lush, rich, tasty. Definitely a pilsner, but deeper, larger, wider than any you’ve met before. Big texture, wide mouthfeel, fullish body...big, brash, bold. Yum...
plenty big, booze-wise, for the style, outsized enough to remind you to put on the brakes while imbibing...one of the best examples of the kind I’ve yet to examine.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 badgerben (4116) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2005
Cloudy yellow color with no head. Aroma of muddled apricot. Yeasty flavor, but no wheat or breadiness to accompany it. That slight apricot come back too.
