2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl bottle bought from the Wanstead Tap at Wanstead Farmer?s market. A lovely hazy, marmalade body. Initial taste is of fruit (previous reviews of lemon, orange, and grapefruit feel right) and then the bitterness hits. And stays. And lingers some more. Too bitter for my delicate palate.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours yellow to amber with a fluffy white head, low to medium carbonation and decent lacing from that wheat.
Aroma is pineapple, mango, lemon peel with touch of herbs. Taste is bitter, slightly salty, with good body and a nice long finish for the ABV.
Good session pale ale.

profumatissima e dall’aspetto splendido con un bel cappello di schiuma pannosa. Ruffiana, godibile e dissetante interpretazione di apa americana.

Bottle. Nice, citrus-woody hops - interesting hop mix. Definitely picking up on that west coast hop feel (and it’s quite rare for me to sort of know what I’m actually tasting hop-wise). Clean finish, it’s got that ever elusive quality of ’crispness’. Goooood.

From cask at The Auld Hoose. Pours light gold with a good frothy head. Aromas of hay, orange peel, tropical fruit and a wee bit of honey. Taste is refreshingly hoppy, then the wheat comes through and balances out the hops.

(Draught at Mother Kelly’s, Bethnal Green, London, 26 Nov 2015) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, citrus, orange peel and a touch of resin. Malty, slightly fruity taste with bread, orange peel, toast, a touch of resin and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
