Hops: Amarillo, Centennial, Citra
A fresh, zesty, aromatic pale ale brewed with malted barley, a little wheat, and Amarillo, Centennial and Citra hops from the West Coast of the USA. The British ale tradition collides head first with the best of the US craft beer movement, resulting in an incredibly drinkable Pale Ale with tonnes of US hop aroma and flavour.

33cl bottle bought from the Wanstead Tap at Wanstead Farmer?s market. A lovely hazy, marmalade body. Initial taste is of fruit (previous reviews of lemon, orange, and grapefruit feel right) and then the bitterness hits. And stays. And lingers some more. Too bitter for my delicate palate.

profumatissima e dall’aspetto splendido con un bel cappello di schiuma pannosa. Ruffiana, godibile e dissetante interpretazione di apa americana. buona !

Bottle. Nice, citrus-woody hops - interesting hop mix. Definitely picking up on that west coast hop feel (and it’s quite rare for me to sort of know what I’m actually tasting hop-wise). Clean finish, it’s got that ever elusive quality of ’crispness’. Goooood.

From cask at The Auld Hoose. Pours light gold with a good frothy head. Aromas of hay, orange peel, tropical fruit and a wee bit of honey. Taste is refreshingly hoppy, then the wheat comes through and balances out the hops.

Malty, slightly fruity taste with bread, orange peel, toast, a touch of resin and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong frothy white head. The aroma is very strongly hopped with a yeasty dryness. The flavour is very bitter and hopped with a good degree of roastedness and yeastiness. Overall a reasonable strongly hopped pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
