33cl bottle bought from the Wanstead Tap at Wanstead Farmer?s market. A lovely hazy, marmalade body. Initial taste is of fruit (previous reviews of lemon, orange, and grapefruit feel right) and then the bitterness hits. And stays. And lingers some more. Too bitter for my delicate palate.

Bottled 24/02/14. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a white head - a little lifeless, maybe. Aroma has a light veg, and a light bbq meatiness too... Also caramel and candy. Light body, medium carbonation. Light, refreshing, grassy, with a bit of pine. It’s dry, woody, nice solid bitterness. Tasty.

Cask (Ivy House, Sunderland) - Amber in colour. Grapefruit, pine and peach in the aroma. Tangy and hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, peaches in syrup and pine.

Cask at London Drinker festival 2014, Kings Cross, London. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, tropical fruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, tropical fruit, some grapefruit, rather bitter.

Clear sternly golden, slight ringed head. Straw and gummy hops, lukewarm lime. Initial taste of straw lemon, mooching bit of malt. Finger licking good hop presence, on the money bitterness. Decent carbonation lets things sail past at a comfortable pace. Big resonating flavour for the ABV, without getting ahead of itself for a thyme and lime juicy finis. White marshmallow dryness to the linger. I smashed this bottle inside 15 minutes, great stuff.

330ml bottle from Great Grog, shared with jeevan. Pours hazy gold, thick white head. Strange funky, catty aroma. Some light malt. Taste has more tropical fruit, but a bit of an odd one this. Very dry. Hmmm.

330 ml bottle.
Pours a golden colour with a white lacy head. Aroma of toasted malts, exotic fruits and lemon. Flavour is very, very weird; smoked ham, malts, bread, exotic fruitiness, floral notes and some plastic. Light bodied, high carbonation and a dry, bitter, smoked finish. What is this? Did they use the wrong kind of malts here by accident?

UPDATED: MAR 1, 2014 330ml bottle from Valhalla’s Goat. Golden amber, not much head. Glorious strong tropical fruit aroma. Dry biscuit resin & tropical fruit flavour. Big grapefruit aftertaste. Strong flavour and a bit unbalanced.
