Pours black color with a large beige head. Very roasty and ashy dry aroma with hints of vanilla and cocoa, slightly bready and nutty too. Dark chocolate, cocoa powder and coffee on the flavor, a dash of rye and oat, dark bread and hops also, dry woody and somewhat ashy finish. Balanced and refined robust Porter, tasty.

Draft at Beer Craft Co., Holborn. Aroma has roasted malts, some coffee and beans. Pour black with a medium brown head. Taste is a real let down. Bland but it has a roasti after taste. Palate is disappointingly thin. Overall it smells and looks inviting but has a poor delivery.

Deep malty aroma. Pours really well. Thick and rich. Good blackest black colour. A little syrupy and lingers on the tongue. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a very dark brown with a tan head. It has all the typical porter characteristics - burnt notes, coffee flavours good bitterness. Very well made, with excellent flavours and a good balance; - a classic porter. High drinkability.
