Benzai (7324) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - NOV 21, 2013
Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus @ Dutchdrebus 3000 ratings tasting. Opaque pitch black color, full sized light brown head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is kind of weak, expected it to be stronger: malts, lightly hops, lightly roasty. Taste roasted malts, lots of coffee and bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Quite nice!

Bottle @ home thx to benzai. Pitch black colour with a huge light brown head. Smells roasty, dark chocolate, coffee, sweet. Tastes like water with a hint of tar. Reminds me of guinness surger. Thin body, soft carbo. Like watered down coffee.

Opaque dark brown beer with a good fluffy tan head. Palate is light, airy and semi dry. Fine prickly carbonation. Robust dark malts with a touch of roast. Mild malt cream. Minerals. Mellow hop bitterness before the dry finish. Mild malt bitter linger. Standard stuff, done well.

33cl bottle, bottled April 2013. Almost black, thick brown head. Awesome strong coffee aroma greets one directly, roasted malt and some vanilla as well. Flavor has coffee, roasted malt, chocolate notes and licorice. Dry finish with coffee lingering. Solid work for this abv!
