Hops: Amarillo, Centennial, Citra
A fresh, zesty, aromatic pale ale brewed with malted barley, a little wheat, and Amarillo, Centennial and Citra hops from the West Coast of the USA. The British ale tradition collides head first with the best of the US craft beer movement, resulting in an incredibly drinkable Pale Ale with tonnes of US hop aroma and flavour.

On tap @Mad For Beer (Rome). Pours pale golden with a medium white head. Aroma is fresh and fine, citrus, tropical fruits, peach and pine, amazing mix! Flavour is balanced, medium bitter with a clean and dry end, very drinkable. Light body, medium carbonation. Well done!

Clear orange beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: hay, citrus, grassy UK hops, green chlorophyll smell, malty, cow fodder. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, very malty, grains, cow fodder, citrus, soapy bitterness. Aftertaste: grassy, hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, very dry, almost medicinal bitterness.

Keg at The Rake tap takeover, London. It pours a clean golden color with a medium white head. Soapy foam that sticks around. Aroma is grassy, fruity and resiny. Taste is moderately bitter with grapefruit, grass and pine needles. Body is medium with good carbonation. Overall, a very nice and hoppy pale ale.

Bottle picked up from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring on Thames, Oxon. Consumed at home, Sunday 2nd November 2014. Pours gold with a chill haze, white filmy head. I think the hops are a little quiet and shy here, both in mouth and on nose. Tangy, fruity and smooth, bitterness is picking up, perhaps I was being harsh on the hop front. I am not a big fan of this, some pithy lemon. Ok A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov11 2.9

Gravity at Bartons Arms, Bartons Arms, Bartons Arms, Birmingham. And so forth. Rather a delicious beer. Grainy PA, plenty of sidewalk hops, with a fawcet of plural clean grain and fender-bashing sunshine. Replete.

330ml bottle: BBD 20 Dec 2014. bottled on 20 Aug 2014, bought and consumed at the Wild Card brewery and tap room on 13 Sep 2014. Poured a hazy light orange colour. Mild citrus notes to the grassy and fresh veg aroma. Took a while to like this, initial taste was meh, then it began to take off a bit with the malts coming out to play: some baked biscuit flavours along with a bitter orange hint turned it into a pleasant ’sunny’ beer.

Bottle from deeside drinks emporium. Pours a hazy orange/gold with a small head which lasts. A nice fruity aroma with mango, orange and grapefruit. A nice fruity hop taste with grapefruit and slight lemon hints. Great for a 4.4%
