Cask conditioned at Harbury Beer Fest ’11. Dark brown with slight white head. Fruity malty beer, more in character with a mild perhaps, quite short on the palate. It’s ok without getting too exciting.

Clear medium to dark brown amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light roasted, chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100430]

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Chestnut colour. OK best bitter, not much hop, some decent malts. OK roast toasst, some fruit. Bit of dryness. Easy drinking best bitter.
