Unique hay and bourbon aroma, well balanced. Piss colored, viscous pour, thin head, some glass coating. Ordinary malt flavor, even balance of corn and barley. Weak finish of hay. Leaves a film on the palate and tongue. Severely lacking in hops.

Bottle; aroma of sweet corn and bread. Dullish gold with a small white head. Light bodied, with a nice palate. Some astringency. Flavor of bread, caramel, corn, and a mild hop finish. Good for the style.

12 oz bottle. For what I expected from a lager, it exceeded my expectations greatly. This is one of the better ones I’ve had. Good maltiness.
