Fix 1864 Spezial has a medium, white head and a clear, yellow, clear, bubbly appearance, with lots of streaming bubbles and no lacing. The aroma is of rather rank, cheap, sweet grain, and the flavor is similar, with grain husk and off-tasting sweetness. Mouthfeel is light and watery, and Fix 1864 Spezial finishes semi-dry and mostly unpleasant, but one can drink it. Overall, this is another cheap, scam-type beer that alleges to be something that it is not. One doubts that the real Fix of Greece tastes anything like this bum. Avoid. RJT

Bottle->mini lager. Pale yellow with foamy white head. Aroma: sweet malt, grass. Taste: watery malt, hay. Just ok.

PA bottle from Half Time. Pours darkish gold with a slight creamy white head. Aroma is primarily bready. Med minus body. Chewy carb. Flavor is slightly sweetly bready. There’s some bitter in the finish, but it doesn’t taste very nice.

Bottle. Pours gold with a small white head. Aromas of sweet malt and caramel. The flavor is grassy water with some caramel added. Eh. [1053]

Clear yellow with a thin white head and lots of carbonation. Bland and thin taste. Just your average middle of the road Lager.

pours a bland yellow, light foam .. . some light corn, husk, and dried trampled grass .. short finish, just a touch wet.. . an alright pale lager, but was better right out the fridge, went downhill as it warmed in the glass
.. . . The man difference between a pick-pocket and a pervert is that one snatches watches and the other watches snatches.

Not bad, malty, sweet, smooth, went well with greek food as it was refreshing and uncomplicated. Midgrade German style lager, could do worse.

Oh man, this stuff is just major, major piss. Glad I only have 1 bottle. Like a bud dry or something but with 10x the vomit intensity.

a perfectly middle of the road lager, better than a lot of the macro brews out there. a bit of cooked corn and cereal graininess and just a bit of hoppy bitterness in the background. honestly id drink this over anything from AB or Miller.

Bottle from Central Market Fort Worth. Pale yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma is fruit and rubbing alcohol. Taste is stale grain and that’s really about it.
