330 ml bottle. A deep amber body with a nice beige head. Light aroma of mild roasted malt and bark from tree. Flavor is light malty with a hint of liquorices, almost no bitterness. Thin body and weak aftertaste. This is just a very boring beer, but the apperance is actually really nice.

It’s nice to have access to a dark beer in Greece, and there are some good qualities. It particularly comes out in the aroma, which has a chocolate note and some rich malts. These tended to fade away in the flavor for me. The body was medium and the color was rich. Decent though not great. Bottle in Corfu.

This is pretty much the only dark beer you get in lefkada, bottle or otherwise so its score is slighly inflated from the fact I spent an entire week drinking lager which I really don’t like. This is a pretty standard brown beer but in comparison to everything else its excellent.

BOTTLE 33CL. Look: almost opaque black with red highlights, medium coffee head. Aroma: black malts, quite toasty, black chocolate, oily (diacetyl?), somewhat flat. Taste: quite intense, quite roasty - a little acrid even, coffee, chocolate, decent bitterness in the finish, a bit of ashes. A bit too sweet and "simplistic" or unrefined - whatever it means... Still, better than expected from a Greek macro.

While taking in the view of "Little Venice" in Mykonos... Dark amber brown with tan head. Good balance of malt flavors with some dark chocolate notes... Very good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can, 0.33l, courtesy of Simon. Clear dark brown color with medium frothy off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel and mild roasted malt. Taste starts with sweet caramel, follows by roasted and slightly smoked malt with mild bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. This one goes far beyond ordinary Greek brew...

Bottle in Athens. June 2014. Dark brown with a medium head. Aroma and taste of light roasted malt, some coffee, toffee and dark fruit. On the sweet side but drinkable.

Brown nearly black pour with thin layer of beige head. Average to lively carbonation, very thick viscous mouthfeel, crisp finish. Light aroma of mostly carmel, some chocolate too. Taste is strong robust carmel, smokey roasty malts, very nicely blended with chocolate, some metallic hops on finish. Great greek porter, perhaps british or US influenced.

Found in a café in Corfu town. Sweet malts, a bit roasted, some caramel, not a lot of bitterness. After loads of lagers this was a nice break. Good to see a dark-ish beer in Greece.
