Bottle 500ml (Athens)
Clear golden color, small white head. Harsh malty aroma. Light to medium-bodied. Harsh, sweet malty, some citric (tart) notes. Not much hops to talk about.

1.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a light golden with a thin white head. Nose is very slight citrus and a bit of a lactic tang. Taste is citrus and cardboard. Not great, but actually not horrendous.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml can from a superfriend Rune ratebeer Tromsø.
Quite tall head, "deutschhh", pale straw body. Foam fades and leaves some dots inside the mug. Some hay and cardboard scents. Tastes lots of grains and alcoholic malts. Some bitterness in the mouthfeel, so I guess there is some hops.
Faint malts at the end, and a bitter twist of hops too. Not too bad, but I would look further.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
[330ml bottle] One of the ubiquitous lagers available on Crete. See-through golden pour with multitudinous rising carbonation. Faint whiff of grass on the nose, some floral element to the taste, but mostly a grassy, corny lager finish. Knock ’em back, is my advice (or go for the dunkel, which is pretty good)

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Clear golden with a low white head, high carbonation. Grainy aroma with old hops, taste is sweet with mild hops, low bitterness, malty aftertaste. A pretty boring standard lager.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle from Yiamas, Glasgow (£3.25):
Corn & light hops with a refreshing, grassy hop aroma, with some lemon & other citrus notes. Not all that bad really but not that strong on the nose either.
Medium amber with a decent sized, bubbly white head on top, although it did take an aggressive pour.
Light tasting with corn, citrus & grassy hops plus a sweetness throughout with a tiny bit of skunk right at the end.
Light bodied with a slight citrus tang on top of medium carbonation and a refreshing taste with hints of skunk towards the finish.
Not a bad attempt at a macro pale lager, the beer was enjoyable enough and the refreshing mouthfeel certainly helped this some. Not all that great but certainly better than expected.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pale gold with thin white head. Grain and grass the main smells. Grainy, sweetish, typical mass produced later with not much going on.
