33cl can from In.ka supermarket in Platanias, Crete. Poured clear, straw color with a white head. Cardboard and artificial aroma. Flavor similar, almost no bitterness. Unpleasant, even when very cold.

50cl bottle. Poured golden with a white head that left some lacing. Fairly typical lager aroma, lightly sweet and mildlly hopped in flavor as well as aroma. Thin body and moderate carbonation.

33cl Bottle brought from Syros, Greece by my in-laws, thanks Kerry&Petros. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of sweet corn, wet paper, light sweet lemon. Flavour is medium sweet, light malty, corn, light paper, a bit of lemon in the finish. Slightly dry. Light bodied. Nothing wrong with this imo, but not very good either.

Bottle brought back from holiday by my sister. Clear gold with lasting white head. Cardboard and wet dog aroma. I haven’t had a beer this bad in ages. And it’s not off or infected or anything it’s supposed to taste like this. Virtually no redeeming features at all. Lots of corn in the mouth. Very very vague lemon somewhere. Vague lemon hop on end which is hard to detect due to the wet cardboard everywhere and this creamed corn flavour. Really apalling beer.

Shared 330 ml bottle, ABV 5%. Golden colour, low head. The aroma has some sweetish fruity notes. High level of carbonation in the mouth. Tolerably fresh flavour, drinkable, but nothing remarkable here.

A normal greek lager. It has more taste than the cheap regular ones, but again it is not something special. Good for a warm day at the beach.

ElDesmadre (934) - Mikołów, POLAND - AUG 12, 2011
Bottle. Light golden with a disappointingly short head. Aroma is slightly sourish macro-malt, also slightly grainy, with some apples and without hops. Taste is dominated by common macro-malt, slightly sweetish and almost devoid of bitterness. Very boring.

Dullish gold colour. Not much head. Aroma has a slightly lemony accent and some fairly bland pale malts. The taste is bland and sweetish with a slight pale malt accent. There is not much hop to it. I guess it’s clean but that might be all the praise I have for it.

gunnar (3582) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 1, 2011
0,5 l bottle. Pours light straw coloured with a thin white head. Aroma is very weak, grainy malts. Taste is sweet, carbonized water. Ends rather harsh and uninviting.
