Decent weizen, made to taste better after a few weeks drinking the more commonly available lagers.

From Festival de las Naciones. In Teku glass. Reading CPPHTP10 Ch13. The nose promises more than the tongue receives. Drinkable but watery

Bottle 0.5l. A bit hazy orange to gold body, minimal white head. Fresh aroma of peaches and peach jam. Taste is sour and little sweet. Peaches again, nectarine, apricot, wheat. Light to medium body, high carbonated.
Quite simple, but very nice aromatic and tasty one.

Bottle 0,5l from local market in Nafplio. Hazy, yellow to gold colored. AROMA- sweet, peaches, apples, yeast. FLAVOR- pleasantly sour, lightly sweet, slightly bitter, peaches, wheat. Medium bodied.
Weissbier without bananas, still very tasty.

Cloudy. Sweetish aroma with hint of bananas. Taste is also slightly sweet and banana-like. It's quite crisply carbonated and despite being a little watery, this is a pretty good, well balanced wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

En tysk hvedeřl, der smager hen ad de tyske klassiskere, dog er den noget tyndere i smagen.

Z butelki 330ml. Całkiem pokaźna, długo utrzymująca się piana. Po chwili zupełnej pustki dość wyraźny banan, goździków brak.

Bottle. Cloudy golden, gentle carbo, stable foam head. A: fresh wheat, citrus, hint of banana, some dried oregano, corn, yeast. T: refreshing, slightly doughy. Corn taste, which develops towards faint banana. Very mild bitterness. Aftertaste is quite dry, fruity. Probably rated a little higher because this was a welcome find in Greece after finding lagers only.

Gerbeer (2693) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 26, 2015
330 ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold. Aromas of earthy wet wheat and dried bananas. Flavors of watery wheat, bubble gum and banana. Simple and easy to drink. A good alternative to all the lagers on the Islands.

Bottle in Kos. A stubby 500ml Duvel-style bottle of a type previously unseen: bonus point. Steady streaming ochre with a fat nitro-esque mousse. Massive clods of yeast left cornering the emptied bottle: another bonus point. Aroma of milk shits, TCP yeast, jasmine incense sticks, parsley, smoked juniper, tired clove. Nitro thickness with an unsophisticated burnt clove ester note dominating. Hints of parsley and dank aniseed. For a GK macro it’s interesting and admittedly not dead; as a hefeweizen it’s piss poor and overwhelmed by inappropriate yeasty notes belonging more to Keith’s madcap homebrew than a crisp quenching wheat.

Bottle at Symi, Greece. Pours a hazy golden/yellow with a medium sized white head. Aroma is citrussy and wheaty with hints of banana, Esters and lots of yeast. Taste is sweet and yeasty. Slightly metallic and citrussy, and a dry finish. High carb and a smooth but slightly watery body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
