COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tilsat lakridsrod.
Serveres ved 8°-10° C.

500ml (old) bottle, purchased from the Brugsen opposite the brewpub in Lyne, tasted 3 January 2010. Attractive dark red colour with decent condition and a thin beige head. Quite fruity aroma. Some licorice. A little roast malt to go with the tart fruit in the flavour. Some sharp acidity in the mouthfeel. OK but not very inspiring.

Dark brown color with a fine light brown head. Dark roasted aroma. Roasted flavor. Is this really a porter? It’s a nice dark beer with a decent good taste

As Fjordens Dark. Clear dark brown without head. Aroma is sweet and roasted malt. Flavor is rather sweet and light acidic. Finish is light acidic. There is almost no bitterness or carbonation, and I’m guessing it’s not supposed to be acidic. At the time of drinking I thought this might be infected, but when I had another Fjordens two days later there was no doubt anymore. Why do they sell infected beer? They give craft beers a bad name. 160810

Aroma: Roasted mat, bitter chocolate, fruity. Taste: some roasted malt but dominated by a sour taste. Almost no carbonation. Must be either infected or a really bad beer.

Bottle. Pours a brown colour with short lasting head. Very light colour for a porter! Aroma is decent, with malts, caramel and roasty feel. Palate is very disappointing, very thin and watery. Flavor also fails to impress, with the same flavors as in the aroma, but not nearly as dominant as I would have wanted them to. Disappointing.
