Mild cremiger Malzantrunk, dunkel, aber nicht sehr intensiv. Auch der Hopfen ist weich, erkennbar ist er im Hintergrund und führt eine wenig ausgeprägte Herbe hinter sich. Im Mittelteil behält das Bier eine gewisse Frische, die wohl durch den nun herberen Hopfen erreicht wird. Eine leichte Hefigkeit wirkt neben dem Malz, das nun nicht mehr so vollmundig wie zuvor ist, eher flach. Zum Ende hin ist das Bier zu mild und verliert zu schnell an Bissigkeit, kein Aroma bleibt nachhaltig vorhanden.Wenig schokoladig, schnell abnehmend. Etwas nach Käse. 10/8/7/7/5/7

Clear dark brown of color with a small beige head. An aroma of caramel, spice, malt and weak sour. A flavor of malt, toffee, weak liqurice, no hops, weak dark fruits and weak sour.

(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Cloudy, dark amber colour with a short beige foamy layer. Sweet toast-malty and Coriander-spicy aroma with notes of anise, a tinge of caramel and shy hoppy notes. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasty, malt-accented taste with berry-fruity notes and caramel; toasty and quite lasting malty finish with notes of coriander, a tinge of chocolate; also quite dry with a light hops character and a slightly burnt aftertaste. Bottled. A hazy orange-brown beer with a thin but dense head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of fruit.

Bottle: Hazy, mahagony coloured, mid-sized, slowly diminishing beige head. Moderate fruity (dried fruits) and roast-malty nose. dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied. Lingering - with an increasing bitterness - dryish bitter finish. More an english than a belgian ale..........

Frothy off-white fair mostly deminishing head. Week malty slightly acetic aroma and flavor. Moderate bitter flavor. Moderate light bitter finish. Not good beer.
