330ml bottle. From Shropshire - vintage 1994. No carbonation. Slight cardboard bitterness. Limp malt, with some twiggy vanilla oak. Drinkable, but not that interesting or pleasurable.

Bottle and can in Morocco. Common uninteresting lager. Grainy aroma and flavor.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 flying_pig (341) - SCOTLAND - OCT 21, 2011
Bottle in Agadir, Morocco (330ml):
Clear, light straw looking beer that has a thin bubble like head, bone white in colour.
Skunky grain & some vegetable adjuncts are what I get from this beer initially. There is a little bit of corn & your usual macro pale lager aroma which is faint to sweet overall.
A skunky taste blended with some corn & various cheap adjuncts such as grain & corn. Very little going on here.
Another very light bodied beer that is smooth for the most part with a little bit of grain sneaking in towards the end. It is slightly dry in the finish but somewhat refreshing.
A standard macro pale lager that is definitely nothing special & wouldn’t deserve another tasting anywhere else in the world although in Morocco that isn’t the case. It is better than the Flag Spéciale version.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 laiti (1675) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUL 27, 2011
33 cl bottle @ Hotel room, Agadir. Rated on 21.12.2009
Aroma is rather harsh, it has some butter and hints of cardboard. Flavour has with butter, grain and some grass. Way too harsh and light on flavour to be enjoyable.

A decently refreshing brew, pours bright golden colour with a full white head. good retention, leaves scattered lacing on the glass, has aromas of dates, olives and bannana. A soft touch of figs in the finish.
1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20 FarFromHome (85) - Philadelphia, Alabama, USA - JAN 9, 2008
Not nearly as bad as Flag Especial. Sold in Morocco in tall-boy cans. My beer of choice here, since non-Moroccan beers are hard to find. A little watery, generally bland. Not exciting, but lacking obvious defects. Alright for going along with food; not so good alone.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 Dorwart (2161) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - DEC 23, 2006
SKUNKS ASS! I REPEAT, SKUNKS ASS! Large bright white head. Damn, the whole rooms smells like road kill! Light malts and a bit of roastyness and smoke hidden behind the nasty Saaz hops. Minimal carbonation. Color is a light tan. Flavor is no where near as bad as the aroma. Minimal malts and roastyness. Soft grains and cereal. Still not very good. But this is my FIRST brew from Morocco, and better yet, from Casablanca! Cheers to Bobby H for bringing this one back for me!
