2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This seems to be the beer of choice in Morocco. You might even get in on tap in unsuspicious-looking bars with no advertisement outside full of elder men. Some sweet maltiness, not too bad.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Tempo. Thanks DSG. Very pale gold, clear white head. Malt and lemon aroma (probably remains of the tequito previously sampled), watery and nasty bitterness in the mouth. Very light body.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle in Agadir, Morocco (330ml):
Clear, light straw looking beer that has a thin bubble like head, bone white in colour.
Skunky grain & some vegetable adjuncts are what I get from this beer initially. There is a little bit of corn & your usual macro pale lager aroma which is faint to sweet overall.
A skunky taste blended with some corn & various cheap adjuncts such as grain & corn. Very little going on here.
Another very light bodied beer that is smooth for the most part with a little bit of grain sneaking in towards the end. It is slightly dry in the finish but somewhat refreshing.
A standard macro pale lager that is definitely nothing special & wouldn’t deserve another tasting anywhere else in the world although in Morocco that isn’t the case. It is better than the Flag Spéciale version.
