[Sampled with the duo Svoger & Svogergylp on Orø.] Thanks to HJ. Festival urinelook and with the smell of bodygarbage: true poison and really bad. Even in very hot weather I do not think it can be just a little drinkable (...like the other flags from Togo, Senegal etc!)

Mine had a special 2006 label on it celebrating Egypt’s football team, which didn’t make it to the World Cup. This was probably the third or fourth best beer I’ve had from Africa. It’s an international lager, but it’s legitimate: no skunkiness anywhere, a welcome rich yellow color, clear sweetness but not suggesting malt liquor--rather, just malts--and an interesting tingle of carbonation with enough body to escape criticism. My friend’s mom, who is a global traveler and supplied this to me, drank a good bit of this herself while in Burkina Faso. It’s not just better than the water, it’s actually reasonably decent in the style.

Pale yellow with a frothy dying white head. Sharp citrus aroma with some hops. Sweet flavor with hints of sourness. Fruit, malt and little hop but weak and watery. Not one I would drink again, but a cool new country!!

Bottled. Pale yellow, small head. A light hint of lemon in the nose. Hard and clean mouthfeel. Light bodied with low bitterness. No obvious flaws, but also no obvious qualities.
