Bottle at the first Idar-Oberstein/Germany RateBeer tasting at Wasaba, sourtesy of Bierkrug, thanks! Same appearance as most other African lagers. Aroma of slightly sour citrus. Taste is plain and bitter.

Botte. From the German RateBeer gathering Spring 2011 in Idar Oberstein courtesy of Bierkrug. Sour barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with nice head. Sweet barley malt and light hops flavor. Not horrible - would be okay if stuck in Niger.

330 ml bottle in Niger. Pours a very pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet papaer and some malt comming through. Taste is a weak and watery with some sweet malt coming through as well. Palate is very weak but not offensive. I found this beer better than the Togo version.

Bottle, Thx Omhper! Yellow gold colour. Aroma is of diacetyl and DMS. Metallic notes and a thin body.

Bottled. Thx omhper! Pale golden colour. Low head. Metallic, honeyish aroma. Flavour is metallic with notes of cooked corn. Stale and very light in mouthfeel with maltsweet finish.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Golden colour with small white head. Aroma is some diacetyl, metal, vegetables and maize. Flavour is very mild, but mainly very sweet vegetably and maizeish.

Bottled. Courtesy of omhper. Clear golden with a low white foam. Metallic aroma with touches of sugar and hay. Thin flavour of corn, metal and fermented fruit. Light-bodied with an extremely short finish.

Bottled. Pale yellow, small head. Aroma of vegetables and honey. Very sweet and fruity, quite thin. No bitterness. Unusually sweet african lager.
