2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 5/20
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2013 Country #83. Bottle by mail order from saveur-biere.com. Pours very well - nice thick head on this pale lager. Smells decent for the style - simple yeast aroma, no nasty skunkiness. So far, so good... Taste is creamy nothing, like a Worthington. Yes, it’s water with a nice head.

Bottle shared with McTapps. Easy going lager with a skunky background. Some malt, hints of rice and even some flowers. Simple, bit strange but drinkable.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
33cl bottle shared by Cunningham - thanks! Pours clear golden with a nice, white head. Aroma of grain, fruits and cooked vegetables. Sweet and creamy with traces of bitterness and metal. Sweet, but not so bad - even drinkable on a sunny autumn afternoon in a park in Oslo. (2013-09-20)

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Beer from trade with kevnic - many thanks for the new country tick! Pours out clear yellow-golden with low steady head and thin body. Nose of citrus and hops. Taste of green unripe hops, grains, light malt, grass and citrus. Hints of basement and dust. It might be refreshing at more humid and hot countries... Okay, but not really nice.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear golden body, but admittedly a nice stable off white head. Very grainy aroma, typical mass-produced lager yeast. Very soft body, not devoid of any bitterness luckily and the bubbly carbonation makes it drinkable. Somewhat refreshing -- should be good enough when you’re in Togo... or got it from a local African store to tick a country.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
65cl. bottle in an african restaurant in Wuppertal. Directly from the start you can taste the corn. Very drinkable. The beer is full-bodied, not watery, a bit too sweet probably. The Aftertaste is quite long, a bit sweet and very slightly bitter. A bit bready.
--> Goes very well with hot african food. Nice!
