COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The definitive E.S.B! A reddish beer of medium malt flavor coupled with a crisp dry hop finish. This beer is a hop-lovers dream. Dry hopped with Chinooks, one of the strongest finishing hops available. Original Gravity: 13.0° Plato, I.B.U.: 41

Draft - Sweet caramel malts. Clear copper with a thin white head. Grains, caramel and hoppy bitterness. Finish is a little on the bitter Sid but overall pretty decent.

I had this on tap at the brew pub in Flagstaff, AZ. A: clear medium amber, with a fairly good off-white head. Excellent lacing. The aroma was rather faint and fruity, but there was plenty of light, medium and caramel malts. Nice balancing and lightly spicy hop component. A bit maltier and less bitter than average for style. Recommended.

Tap @ the brewpub. Small head with short duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, toffee, fruits, malt and hops. Oily palate.

This one is amber in color with an off-white head. Smells of bread and toasted malt with a bit of pine and floral hop character. There is a touch of citrus peel, too. A very light fruitiness and citrus flavor with quite a bit of toast and bread sweetness. The bitterness is a bit more pronounced than expected with pine hop flavors coming through strongly.

Pours a clear brown with modrate head from tap that quickly dissipates leaving small amount of pacing. Prominent caramel malt. Resinous and grassy hops that is moderatly bitter. Very long bitter finish. Moderate carbonation with chewy and sticky palate.bling bitter finish. Ooverall pretty good. Addendum after further review. I agree with past review of biscuit flavors.

Clear reddish golden with a fizzy white head. Faint malty aroma. Tastes of toasted cereal grain oats and lactose with an earthy finish and a soft palate. Light bitterness throughout.

Amber pour, offwhite head. Aroma is loaded with some dank hops, caramel, bready notes. Flavor follows suit, caramel, hops, bitter finish. Ok.

Light brown coloured beer with some very light carbonation with a very short white head. Bitter touched hoppy aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is light bitter and wattery hoppy hinted. Rather short dry bitter ending but misses some character. Nevertheless my favorite brew at Flagstaff.

hazy reddish amber with a thin whitish head. smells like dirt... i’m starting to see a trend in hopping. might be the hippies though. floral nose mixes with earth, spicy hops, caramel and orange peels. the flavor is a richer version of the same with a little bit of astringency on a dry finish. the body is medium though it feels a bit thicker than the typical esb. 6.5/4/6.5/3/14/3.4

A dark amber pour with off white head and lace. Caramel malt and a hint of sour, and earthy hops. Caramel malt and the same hint of sour followed by a very light bitter and a yeastiness. Medium bodied with aggressive carbonation. This day was not this beers best day.
