COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A rich golden ale characterized by its up front hop bitterness and floral aroma. Overtones of fruity esters balance out this bold beer, making it the "Pride of Flagstaff". Original Gravity: 16.0° Plato, I.B.U.: 35

Pours amber with A very thin head. Smells great citrus and hopy. A very nice aroma. Tastes great very bold hopy and interesting. This is a great beer, an excellent ipa. I love this brew.

Can @ Papago. Dark yellow/orange appearance with a nice off-white head. Pretty grapefruit citrusy, sweet citrusy aroma. A touch tangy, lightly bitter, rich grapefruity, citrusy hoppy flavor. Very sessionable.

Draft at the brewpub. Clear orange color with a white head that laced the glass. Not much in the way of aroma. Flavor was of light sprucy/grassy hops. Moderate hop bitterness without any significant malt backbone to speak of. Eh.

Again, who can’t make an IPA / Pale Ale like this? Officially dubbed, "Bubbaganouj Pale Ale," this one was more like an IPA than a Pale Ale (so, I agree with the bp classification, IPA). Poured a yellow-amber color with a nice head. The aroma was hoppy. The flavor had a good balance of hops and malts. Decent stuff.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2005 Light gold color. Medium head. Aroma is malty and hoppy. A lighter bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are citrusy and fairly bitter. Some fruitiness as well. Medium hopped IPA. Well balanced. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
