COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Half Cycle is so named due to its marriage of single and double IPA characteristics. In baseball parlance, a single and double is half of ďthe cycleĒ, and this IPA is a heavy hitter. Itís a single IPA, hopped like a double, with an over-the-top hop character thatís a bit spicy, citrusy, piney, you make the call. Light in color, but not on flavor, this big boy is dry hopped with a pound of high alpha American hops in every barrel. ABV: 6% IBU: 104.1

Gross. Smells like weed, and to be honest it pretty much tastes like eating weed. I donít know what the hype is with this beer. I love IPAs but this is crap.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet and citric with some dank and piney notes though plenty of caramel and biscuit. Flavor has a lot of sweetness, some orange marmalade with a bit of pine and herbal notes before a bitter finish. Medium body and sharp carbonation.

Ar: Lots of resin, very pure hop aroma - pine, lemon, and mint. Ap: Light amber, crystal clear - medium-large white head with great retention and a meringue cap of foam. T: Bright burst of hop flavor up front, character is lemon, pine, moss, and mint - high and very pointed bitterness, very clean and direct - a background clean malty sweetness with a touch of caramel - lemon and pine hop flavor in the finish. P: Medium body, high carbonation - finish is dry. O: Wow, what wonderful IPA - it just shouts "freshness," with lots of hop flavor and aroma and a real punch of clean bitterness!

Nice dark yellow pour with a medium head. Aroma explodes with a pine forest. Taste is dry, piney malt and a clean finish.

Growler. Pours a clear light copper body with a frothy off-white head. The nose is pretty decent, a good bit of floral hops, slightly perfumy with some dry pale maltiness. The flavor is a whole lot more bitter than I was expecting, not very much hoppy flavor. The malt base is dry and fairly sturdy, it does a good job staying in the background. Itís just not the most drinkable beer because itís so harsh in its bitterness. Light bodied, nicely dry with nice fizzy carbonation. The finish lingers on for a very long time, itís almost too much to be enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle courtesy of queenholly. Thanks! Yay, finally a Flat 12 beer thatís not a gusher! Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy head. Good head retention. Aroma of big citrus hops with a bit of pine. The taste is big citrus, pine, resin hops. Pale malts. Hop agressive, refreshing, fairly fresh. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Nice beer.
