3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
First sip is a shocker, but then you might not be able to stop consuming. The sharpest IPA I have had in a long time.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
From a bottle. Hazy, light orange in color. Pours with 1 finger head, semi large bubbles. Aroma is like I stuck my head in a bag of hops. Grapefruit, pine, tangerine dominate. Flavor is much the same, just subdued with a solid malty backbone. Full mouth feel. Bitterness lingers for a bit. This is really drinkable. I only wish there was a touch more hop flavor.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A nice IPA from Flat 12, the Half Cycle starts out as a fairly dry IPA offering with a more bitter, grapefruit citrus bite to the hops. This dryness fades somewhat as the beer warms, allowing other elements to show themselves, making the beer feel a little sweeter, though it still tends toward the dry side of IPAs. Overall, a tasty offering and worth a pint.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle, pours yellowish/orange with white head. Some lacing on the glass. First aroma is of citrus then the piny resinous oozing hops. The flavor is strong and hopbitterful if that is a word. The flavor starts quickly with that citrus and quickly gives way to the pine scent/flavor. Not for the feint of heart.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled at 10/13/2012 at GABF. This India Pale Ale pours a light gold color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity, hoppy and sweet. A medium bodied India Pale Ale. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and piney. Decent carbonation. A touch crisp and a little dry. Lots of hop bitterness without a lot of malt sweetness to balance it out. A touch more malt would be a good idea here. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pour from a 12 oz bottle, six pack from a Soupley’s in Kokomo. Slightly cloudy orange/amber brew with a dense white head.Aroma of intense pine with citrus overtones and a bit of earth. Taste is very hops forward though there is a solid malt backbone. Citrus and herbal hops dominate. Long long lingering bitter finish. Again the earthiness in the taste and a little alcohol, surprising for the moderate ABV. Managing to standout in the world of IPA’s is something, and this one is actually rather distinctive.
