Yellow-gold pour with a thing white head. A nice pale ale with a good hop flavor. Balanced and very smooth.

Helluva pale. Very fresh. Very refreshing. Very hoppy. The malt is there too. It’s got a rich malty backbone and the weight too. Maybe a touch too heavy. That’s being picky, but this could be mistaken for a IPA. It’s a beer with some charge too it. Well done. Should have filled my growler with this. Oh well next time.

Poured a clear, copper color with white head and above avg lacing. Aromas of some citrus, floral, and spices, but not real strong aromas. Good balanced taste with mild sweetness and bitterness ending with a nice dry finish. Overall, a very good session beer. No major bitterness or sweetness. Good balance of hops (cascade or citra maybe) and malts. Good and smooth. Well done.

tap at the brewery - Pours light amber with good lacing and smells of caramel malt with some light citrus hops. The flavor has some good citrus hops and a hint of florals. The malt is subdued with just a little caramel. It’s bubbly and medium bodied. It’s a decent brew but I found that overall it was a little lackluster. Perhaps a better malt profile would help.

Sampled on tap at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a nice glowing amber, some darker gold, good haze, bigger frothy whitish head laces well, stays on as a good ringer. Aromas are touches of florals and grass, light citrus wanes with some bready and grainy malts, cereal grains. Simple, fairly clean. Initial is lighter end of medium, with some citrusy effervescence, light bubbly carbonation, faint pepper. Some bready and pale malts take the reigns, with light doughy malts, moving into light clean and grassy florals. Backend is a touch more soapy, fruity, with lighter bitterness. Fairly clean but lacking hop life. A nice lawnmower Pale that lacks oomph. It’s not bad, but it’s clean and uninspiring. Ok, but not a great representative of the style.
