Dark pour. Typical porter characteristics with maybe a hint of orange. Definitely not as pronounced as I expected.

On tap. I like the base porter, but the tangerines do nothing for me. It just adds some slight fruitiness that could easily be accomplished by dry hopping. It’s not bad, again I like the base beer, but the tangerines detract from the final product.

Draft sample at brewpub. Poured dark brown hue with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted chocolate malt and citrus aroma. Medium to ful body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Flavor was moderate toasted citrus sweet with an average toasted sweet finish of moderate duration. Good brew.

Growler courtesy of stfun. Pours dark brown with a lingering tan head. Smells of a blend of rich, chocolatey malt with some tangerine notes battling to get through. Tastes of chocolate, peppery, some fresh tangerines, spicy with a roasty, rich finish. Interesting combination, but the tangerines dry the beer out a bit.

Growler shared by StFun! Dark pour with a wispy tan head and spotty lace. Aroma is tangerine and coffee. Resinous citric flavor. Remember those chocolate orange candies when you were a kid? This is that, in a bottle. Interesting beer
