12 oz. bottle from a trade with Fletche00. Pours a hazy caramel color with a big, pillowy, cream colored head, and good lacing. The first thing on the nose is massive grapefruit, followed by some butterscotch, pine sap, and light resin. The flavor is sweet and juicy up front, with an aggressive hop bitterness in the finish. The bitterness lingers in the aftertaste, tapering off to a light sourness. Medium to heavy body, sticky, and chewy. Overall, this is a big, thick beer, especially given the ABV. The hop aroma is brilliant, but the bitterness is a little off-putting. Still, this is an very good pale ale.

Choppy with a slight sweet finish. Doesn’t linger too long. Quality pale ale. Perfect for someone who doesn’t want to be overwhelmed with hops.

Six pack of bottles from Crown Liquor, Indianapolis. Pours an inch of off-white head with good retention over a gold/amber body. Thick, coating lace on the glass. Large nose of light and zesty tropical fruit. Fruit flavors continue in the mouth with an overlay of resinous hop presence. I also picked up notes of soap, perfume, banana bread, and subtle pineapple. Medium carbonation and medium/full body. This is a very unique pale ale and a pleasure to imbibe.

On tap at brewery as well as poured from a bottle purchased at brewery. Nice yellow with a huge thick pillow top off white head that hung around til last drop consumed. Aroma is juicy fruity definitely smell pineapple a touch of hops. Flavor upfront mango, pineapple, passion fruit- some grass here as well. Finish is smooth with a touch of bitterness. Carbonated just right as often I find pale ales way so carbonated that the flavors are lost. Flat 12 is a pretty cool brewery that doesn’t serve flights just free tastes. Chose this one for a full pour & picked up a 6 pack to bring home. Glad I did as it was better than I remembered. Very balanced clean flavors especially if you are into a fruity pale ale.

Golden pour with frothy white head. Huge passion fruit and pineapple aroma. Doesn't follow through to the taste much however. Decent amount of bittering hops. Could be fruitier in the taste. Otherwise good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce bottle. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with an inch off-white head that sticks around a long time. There’s also a lot of lacing. The brew smells mostly like citrusy hops (tropical fruit, mango), along with some light caramel malt. It tastes like citrusy (tropical fruit, citrus peel, mango, grapefruit) hops, bready malt, and a nice lingering bitter finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s a bit slick and creamy with a good amount of carbonation. I think it’s a good overall pale ale. I’ve had a few different brews from Flat 12 now, and I’ve liked all of them. Definitely worth picking up!

cloudy amber color; floral hop aroma; a hoppy beer with a good deal of tropical fruit notes on a medium bodied malt base; dry, bitter finish

Draft. Pours golden straw with copious white creamy head that leaves substantial lacing. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit. Taste matches the aroma with a clean bitter finish. Pretty good pale ale. Would be great on a hot day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber with white head. Thin, creamy, and mild lacing. Citrus, apricot, caramel, and mild floral aroma. Medium bodied, Caramelly sweet, fruity, with finishing lemon notes. Decent balance, mild dry zing, and medium bitterness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep golden color out of the bottle with a loose, foamy off white head. Big fruity hop nose. Chewy hop flavors with lots of tropical fruit and candied grapefruit rind, over a coarse home made breadiness. Long hop bitterness in the finish. This is a hop dominated beer for sure.

Cloudy orange with big white head. This one was a bit of a gusher. Nice fruity hop aroma. Flavor is a bit disappointing, opens pretty watery/lagery with some grassy hops in the finish. Not a bad beer, but I certainly wouldn’t buy it.
