3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft sample. Poured a clear golden color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with fair lacing. Moderate earthy hops and fruit aroma. Medium to full body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Gold pour, white head. The tropical aroma is nice. Mango and lychee. Flavor is lightly bitter, nice and citrusy, mango, light lychee flavors. Really a nice fresh and hoppy brew! Light caramel malt balances this nice.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
355mL thanks to tastybeer! Possibly unfresh ticking bottle thanks to Sahara Mart. Thick white lacing atop a hazy orange pour. Nose at first blasts some fruity NZ hops with spicy Belgian IPA yeast. Aroma hops conflict with some oxidized apple juice. Taste is quite dusty, heavy newspaper, plastic. Chalky, papery palate to the max. Probably heat damaged or old.

12oz bottle, shared by b3shine. Clear amber yellow orange color. Thin off white head. Biscuity malt profile. Nice lightly grassy hop, some light spicy hop, light citrus, grapefruit. Medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation, kind of crisp. Fruity, tropical hop, light citrus. Zesty sweet taste. Light bitter. I really like the galaxy hop, it does well here too. I just prefer a more hop assertive, double IPA single hop showcase.

8/11/12. GTMW. Orange pour with a decent khaki head. Mild hop aroma with plenty of tropical fruits and hints of caramel. Malt and caramel come through lightly on the flavor with more tropical fruits in there. Not bad!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to plastic cup (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a transparent orange with sticky off-white lacing and lively carbonation. Smells and tastes solid; a nice balance of Galaxy hops and malt that’s appropriate for an APA. A nice passionfruit presence too (as the description suggests). Good on the palate too. A nice example of the style.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: AUG 28, 2011 Draft on tap at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a nice glowing amber orange pour, a healthy glow and haze with a small frothy whitish head that dies to a tiny ring and laces small. Aromas are a rich fruity citrus hopping, Galaxy hops take control with grapefruit, tropical fruit, lemons, oranges. Melon, pale malts, touches of biscuits. Really nice. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied with a rich strong hop presence, dry and citrusy, florals, melons, mangos. A melange of fruits and stronger bitterness. Backend has pale malts and some bread peeking through, some dryness really sticks to the palate. Crisp and citrusy hops. Really fruity and vibrant. Goddamn this is a quality APA with an awesome Galaxy hop presence. Still very fruity, light malt body stays out of the way. Highly drinkable. Quality flavorful hop. It’s all about the Galaxy here and it brings what is advertised. Bringing a Bullet home to the crew.
