4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light caramel and citrus, but mostly passion fruit in the aroma. Golden in color, it retained a thin head until the last drop. The taste is lightly sweet with a light bitter finish, and the palate is very creamy for a pale ale. Overall, this is a fantastic pale ale. Trying this beer reminded me of trying Zombie Dust the first time, when it was still named Cenotaph. The aroma really differentiates this ale from other pales, similarly to Zombie Dust. While Zombie Dust is extremely hopped for a pale, the palate is thin and the bitter finish can become a bit overwhelming if enjoying more than a couple of pints. Walkabout is balanced much better, and more easily enjoyed with its soft mouth feel. If Three Floyds brewed this, it would be an instant smash. However, if Flat 12 keeps brewing ales likes this, the rest of the country may have another Indiana brewery to envy.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Deep golden color out of the bottle with a loose, foamy off white head. Big fruity hop nose. Chewy hop flavors with lots of tropical fruit and candied grapefruit rind, over a coarse home made breadiness. Long hop bitterness in the finish. This is a hop dominated beer for sure.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy orange with big white head. This one was a bit of a gusher. Nice fruity hop aroma. Flavor is a bit disappointing, opens pretty watery/lagery with some grassy hops in the finish. Not a bad beer, but I certainly wouldn’t buy it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pour this one gingerly, or you will have some cleanup to do - head retention is very nice though. I love the Aussie hops - tropical fruits and citrus on all sides. Pretty aggressively hopped for an APA, but well done

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fresh bottle. Pours light golden yellow with frothy white head. Aroma is passion fruit, grapefruit, some floral notes. Lots of sweetness on the tongue but well balanced with the Galaxy hops and malt. Big flavors here. These "single-hop" beers are a great way to learn your likes and dislikes in the hop world. Sign me up for more of this one!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Definite citrus and mild bitterness on the palate. A slight sweetness from the malts, which accentuate the rich fruit flavors. Not juicy, just kind of middle-of-the-road. With more hop, it would get more complex and interesting.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz bottle via trade with bmoosey, thanks Bruce. Poured a good looking solid orange amber with a large frothy off white head that lasts and lasts. Aroma is odd, some baby aspirin, fruity, old grains, must. Body is a watery mouthfeel with light tight tingly carbonation and not much of an aftertaste. Flavor is like the aroma but watered down. Didn’t care for this one.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12oz. Pours medium golden with a nice sticky white head. Tropical fruit, grass, and caramel show. Nice tangarine, melon, and mango from the hops. Nice carbonation and body. Super drinkable and well executed.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Poured into a tulip glass (for the hell of it) from a 12oz bottle. A straw tint of yellow with great foamy head that is slow to dissipate. Aroma is a hop explosion; citrus, a little grassy, with just a hint of sweetness on the nose. Beer tastes as good as it smells and goes down great. I really enjoyed this beer and am glad I have one more waiting for me to enjoy.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
355mL thanks to tastybeer! Possibly unfresh ticking bottle thanks to Sahara Mart. Thick white lacing atop a hazy orange pour. Nose at first blasts some fruity NZ hops with spicy Belgian IPA yeast. Aroma hops conflict with some oxidized apple juice. Taste is quite dusty, heavy newspaper, plastic. Chalky, papery palate to the max. Probably heat damaged or old.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Ridiculous pour... simply unacceptable to have an entire glass of foam with no liquid on an APA. When the dust settles (I’m at the ten minute mark now) there is a thin layer of fairly clear gold at the bottom of six or seven inches of foam. Aromas are OK, but subdued. A little bit of grain dust and tropical fruit are about all I pick up. Surprisingly, the flavor is not of infected beer, but it is a kind of muted APA with Galaxy hops. I have to wonder whether this would have stronger hop punch with less carbonation. It’s an alright beer I guess, but a little annoying and I would like to try it again without the carbonation issues.
