COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A Double IPA based on the Flat 12 Half Cycle IPA, Winter Cycle is a big hop bomb of an IPA featuring 8 different hops, from 3 continents. Juniper berries add a subtle winter kick. Big hop, sneaky big ABV – it’s like Half Cycle’s pissed off viking cousin.

Draft. Golden body with a frothy white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, resin, citrus, toasted grain with a hint of dusty grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Medium to full body, velvety texture, soft carbonation. Bitterness overpowers citrus and orange tastes. Taste of resin/pine lingers with the bitterness.

Tastes like a slightly maltier version of Half Cycle, with a very alcoholic finish.

Tasted on draft at the 2012 East Nashville Beer Festival. Pours clear orange with an average white head that leaves an average collar of lace. The nose is super dank resin hops with a nice dose of sweet caramel malt. The flavor is intense resin hops, tons of orange peel, and caramel malt. The body is full with average carbonation with a long bitter resin hops and caramel malt finish.

on draft orange color with nice white foamy head that left bits and traces of lacing. aroma was big hop, lots of citrus punch i was looking forward to first sip and when i did i was a tad disappointed. the flavor was almost muted it was like the hops wanted to come thru and you could taste them but the aroma and flavor were just a bit off...otherwise a decent beer.

Growler brought back from brewery with a big thanks to Brian. Nice flora aroma. Big hoppy presence. Subtle bitterness. Hops carry the flavor well. Very well done. I’d drink this all the time if I lived in Indy.

On tap in downtown Maple City. Look, this was awesome. I mean, one hell of a nose: mango, pineapple, some grapefruit, lots of resinous pine sap, and some earthy dankness. It poured a lovely orange-amber with a decent khaki head. The bitterness was all over, but underneath is some healthy malt sweetness. Palate was vibrant, lots of prickly bitterness, a slight stickiness, and very smooth. To me, this is up there. I love a good DIPA, no doubt, and I had to have a couple glasses of this. Delicious.

Tap. Honey orange malt and citrus hops flavor. Amber color with small head. Honey, orange malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Hides its strength well.
