COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light brown base beer with sweet cherry puree added during the fermentation process.Hopping is low and a our standard Ringwood yeast was used for fermentation. The cherry flavor is mildly assertive in a slightly sweet base beer. The ABV is 6.0% and hop bitterness is 10 BU’s.

Tap at restaurant. Poured a brown amber color with a small white head. Aroma was nutty, caramel, and malts. Flavor was kind of like cough syrup. Way to much cherry for me. It was drinkable when it was cold, as it got warmer it got worse. Love Flat Branch, but not this one.

Tasted at Flat Branch Brewery in Columbia, Missouri. Red-brown appearance- light for a brown ale. Huge cherry cordial aroma. Flavor dominated by cherry syrup. Not good at all.

Pour at the brewpub was a murky brown with a small off white head. Aroma is chocolate covered cherries and a little roasty malt. Flavor is more roast malt, nutty notes with a cherry finish. I liked it, but one per sitting is enough.

Draught at brewpub. First taste was a nice cherry brown taste, with the cherry subtle enough. But as I drank, the overall taste was a bit too much Dr. Pepper.
