Tap - Came out a rich amber color, with a lighter head. Had right after the maibock and liked them both. Also there is a rye beer that’s not on ratebeer.

growler courtesy of co worker Aroma is sweet, of cream, sugar, and malt. Flavor features malt, candy sugar, toffee, and a strange skunkiness. Not terrible, but definitely on par with my (low) expectations

Light copper color with white head. Aroma and flavor are malty/worty sweet but not overly so. Beer is easy drinking session. Was a little undercarbonated which gave it somewhat of a poor mouthfeel. Maybe just a bad pour.

(cask at brewpub) redish amber with small head. Mild malt aroma. Flavor is sweetish toasted and caramel malt with a hint of whisky. Good cask conditioned mouth feel.

It poured an amber color with a white head. The aroma was sweet malts with a hint of yeast. The flavor was also sweet malts. A little on the sweet side for my tastes.

Medium amber colored body with a bright white head. Malty nose with some hint of apple. Taste of raw cereal grain. There is some strange old toffee. This is meh.

Tasted at Flat Branch Brewery in Columbia, Missouri. Red-orange appearance with amber-like malts. Low carbonation. Nice creamy amber flavor.

Tap at restaurant. Reddish pour. Caramel and malts. Sweeter flavor. Smooth aftertaste. Other offerings are better. Good though.

Tasted 9/12/10. Hand drawn pint from the Brewpub. Filtered with an amber hue. Aromas of mild toast and subtle sweet breads. Medium bodied and super smooth! Good flavors of lightly toasted breads and an undertone of grassy hops. The effervescence is mild and muted from the draw and really adds a nice creaminess to the palate. Nice and nicely done!

Pour is a dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is some sweet malts with a bit of yeast. Flavor is sweet malts with no real hops. Finish is almost flavorless. They really like to make thier beers on the sweet side here.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub - pours reddish / copper with and off-white head. The aroma has toasted malt, light sweetness and light butter (not diacetyl). Medium body with very little carbonation. The taste starts quite sweet for me and is a bit nutty with toasted malt and is a bit cloying. The finish is very sweet, syrupy and cloying. Not my thing at all.
