dwaggs2 (26), Warrensburg, Missouri, USA Jul 18, 2008 Flat Branch is a great smaller brewery out of Columbia Mo. This beer was a pretty decent pale ale. Poured yellow in color with a white head that diminsed quickly. Had on tap as with all the Flat Branch beers. Is a great beer. If you are ever in Columbia check this place out. It is a great restaurant/microbrewery. They know beer. sneagrams3 (1342), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Nov 20, 2007 The Dan Journal #135. Tasted 11/19/07. Growler from the Brewpub. Clear and amber ruby hued. Ring of medium bubbled white head. Medium bodied and dry. Bitter piney hops. Touch sugary and citrus. Stick with a lingering finish. Solid session. Drnk_McDermott (1519), Park Forest, Illinois, USA Aug 8, 2007 Draft sampler, 4 Aug. 07. Coppery pale ale color. A light hop smell, but a very aggressive Pacific hop taste. Tries mighty hard to play big daddy to the brewer’s British IPA. Caramel malts a-plenty almost keep this bitter brew in check. ImFatYoureFat (3), USA does not count Aug 6, 2007 Decent beer who’s main draw is a higher alcohol content. Aroma is more plain and unpronounced than most of flat branch’s other beers. The flavor is predominantly bitter with little nuance. drfabulous (657), Columbia, Missouri, USA Jul 27, 2007 Standard pale ale brewpub drinking. Flat Branch’s better beer...I’d like a more aggressive taste, however, to fill out the body of this beer. More hops!
