Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Dec 16, 2005 tap at brewpub-pours light yellow with a small white head and sparse lacing. grainy husky malt tones with a faint spicy hop note on the aroma with a funky/skunky yeast quality from the german yeast. flavors are crisp, lighty grainy, spicy hops, funky yeast quality, and a touch of malt sweetness. some sharp dryness on the finish. man, this is very authentic and i give it a high score because of this. tastes like im drinking reisdorff on tap. nice work from this brewery! Sledge Jr (2693), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Dec 3, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Pale yellow in color with a nice chill haze. Fantastic fluffy white head. Awesome lacing. Grassy scent with a little banana tossed in. Citrus taste with a great bitter tongue. Nice sweetness for balance. Crisp finish. This may be the best kolsch that I’ve had in the US. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Jan 15, 2003 Deep golden color, decent white foamy lasting head that leaves a lace in the glass. Has a flowery and light grainy aroma. Light malt and mild hop flavors, very dry and clean, crisp finish, light body and a watery mouthfeel, nice refreshing easy drinking, good hot weather brew.
