COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Red Wheat is a variation of our Honey Wheat. It is reddish copper in color due to a generous addition of colored malts that also contribute a slight caramel taste. Wheat malt is added to make up 50% of the total malt bill. Nicely balanced with a light addition of German Perle and Tettnang hops. A very easy to drink, yet flavorful and light beer. The ABV is moderate at 5.0% and hop bitterness is low at 16 BU's.

Tap at the pub. Light aroma of bready doughy malt with earthen notes. Glowing rust color with almost no head (come on, CO2!). Flavor is deep spicy wheat on top of smooth hearty malt base. Smooth finish, nice light creamy brew.

Poured copper with a grainy, wheat malt aroma. Flavor is a little wheat tartness, sweetness, toasted malt and a little bit of fruit.

16oz. draught at the brewpub. Sweet, dark, toasty, fruity aroma, grainy with notes of brown sugar, red apple, breadiness, faint pear, even a touch of roast. Deep crimson color, clear, with a slight, fading head. Flavor is sweet, malty, wheaty and grainy, a good bit of dark sugars and bready, toasty flavors, more almost tropical fruit tones and bubblegum sweetness here. Virtually no bitterness at any point. Smooth on the palate with low effervescence, body is light-medium. Lingering fruity sweetness late. Pretty drinkable, still.
