Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma is lightly grainy, with pine cones, resins and some fruity hints. It’s medium bodied and soft on the palate, quite dry. It’s lightly grainy and malty, with pine cones, grass and some bitterness. Long finish. Sure drinkable, but far from top notch, and actually rather boring. 150207

Bottle pours a pale straw-gold-golden clear body with a fine white head, few fields as lacing. Scents of malts, sweet caramel with a little toffee touch, grassy fruity hops, bread, pilsener wort, strawy notes as well. Soft fine taste; grassy fruity hops, caramel malts, bread, wort, a little toffee touch. Normal on palate, maybe a little more carbonation would’ve helped. Hoppy grassy caramelly finish, average lasting. Nice czech svetly pilsener, a desitka I assume. "Top-notch light czech pilsener" label says. Not far from top-notch at least. [Ingredients; Bojos & Malz barleys, Sladek, Premiant & Saaz hops (all 3 in the Saaz/Zatec family), barley & wheat malts. Brewed at (Pivovar Žatec!) Zizkovo Namesti 81, CZ-43801 Žatec (Saaz). 50cl brown bottle 4%abv, BB05.02.15, B@Kjeller5, XmasGift from Trond (Otto) thanx man!]

Bottle. Pours a light golden clear body with a small white head. Nose is pale malts, mild bready tones, faint metal and hints of grass and wet dog in the back. Taste is bread crust, pilsener malt, mild grassy tones and hints of straw and red berries. Light, near-watery body, high carbonation. Not a very noteworthy beer, really.

0.5l bottle. In the glass this is a pretty clear one, golden looking and it has a small bubbly and almost islandy white head. It doesn’t really smell all that impressive. Buttery sweet caramel, some grassy hints and perhaps a little corn. It’s not what I look for in a pilsner. It tastes pretty alright, but oh so boring. Feels thin oily in the mouth and it has a mild soft bubbled average carbonation level. Mild buttery pilsner flavors all the way. I’m serving this relatively cold, so there’s no big off flavors detected. Remember I had a goal keeper from Austria called Otto on my premier manager 98’ game once. A great goal keeper, and I believe he still has a trainer job within football. 27.06.2014
