COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flat Earth Pale Ale is a Belgian pale ale. Inspired by beers like Orval and Rare Vos. Made with imported Belgian malt and a Belgian yeast strain. Our Belgian pale ale has a sweet malt aroma with traces of orange, plum and pear. Its complex malt backbone of biscuit and hints of toast to compliment the spiciness of the yeast. We hope you enjoy the fresh "Belgian" beer.

Bottle from a trade with CLevar. Pours hazy dark burnt orange color with off white head. Fruity, Belgian yeast aroma with some caramel. Sweet fruity and doughy flavors with bubble gum and minimal hop bitterness. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Thanks Caleb.

Oh my first gusher. Quite the experience it was too. Popped the cap and out launched a foamy mass of beige foam leaving a nice sticky orange soda-like liquid all over my floor and cabinets. The aroma of this explosive beer is the traditional estery belgian yeast strain with notes of orange and slightly sour hints. Taste is relatively bland for a BPA. Some orange notes up front with a distant tart note. Medium mouthfeel with little carbonation, oddly enough. If the bottle hadnít exploded, perhaps I would have given this a higher score.

Pour is clear dark orange with a soapy off white head that fades to nothing , but a thin collar. Aroma has some dark fruit bubblegum and some cinnamon and figs. Taste is bready and spicies with some fruit and bubblegum. Palate is thin and slick with a chaulky finish. Pretty nice.

Lovely estery nose, some cherry, bubblegum and honey. Clear light copper, sticky dense white head. Full bodied, strong yeast character with fruity notes and a long toasty biscuit finish. I forget who sent this to me, but thanks!

Thanks Caleb!

Appearance: Pours a deep orange with a lasting beige film for head.

Aroma: Juicy fruit gum, light spice.

Taste: Big fruity notes up front, dry malt, and a sturdy amount of spicy hops in the finish.

Mouthfeel: Crisp, medium bodied.

Overall:Tasty, deceptive in size.

Growler @ Flat Earth. Orange appearance with an off white head. Great sweet Belgian ale nose with light hops. Sweet Belgian blonde ale flavor with a slight hoppiness but not really at all like a BPA. Sweet, light fruity finish.

650ml bottle with a daog eating a waffle on the label. Pours almost like an amber ale, it is a pale goldish/amber with a decent white head that quickly dissipates. The smell is pretty quirky. To me it smells like rotten banana flavored kefir and brie cheese. It is not what you usually get from brett or lacto, but it is something else weird. At any rate it kind of works. This one just tastes out there, like if you dipped bread in medicine and sprinkled some extremely herbal hops over it. The mouthfeel is a bit over carbonated in the mouth then it leaves a syrupy feeling the the back of the throat. Weird beer if it is supposed to be like this. Bomber; pours glowing orange with bubbly white and plenty of carbonation; sharp lemon and dusty spice on the nose; certainly has a sharpness to it with the orange and lemon peel; drinks very fizzy and way over carbonated that just explodes going down; spicy pepper, lemons and a little funk to it; a little coriander too with sharp lemon peels and a little yeast; the over carbonation makes this basically undrinkable; so fizzy in the mouth that itís hard to taste anything besides a little lemon and dry malt; doesnít taste too infected, but the over carbonation is obvious and there is a little slight sour flavor

It didnít have the same label on the bottle as the one pictured on the date of my review. Bottle poured into a tulip glass and it produced a two finger white head that trailed of to a thin lace across the glass. The body was a clear amber to almost copper in color. The aroma was right what it should be, nice and yeasty as well as fruity with a hint of spice. Just the way I like my Belgian Pales. The flavor again was right on the money. It started of fruity sweet and spicy with a hit of hops and pepper towards the end. It had a prefect feel in my mouth for a pale with great carbonation. Great to drink, I split the bottle but could have easily finished it myself. An enjoyable brew, I would gladly have this one again. Serving type: bottle
