2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Every flat earth brew I’ve had up to this point have been a major dissapointment. This one easily is the best i’ve had. Cloudy copper with a fizzy white head. A slight grassy ale nose with some hops to the flavor. Nothing special by any means.

Refreshing. Slightly malty. Slightly fruity IPA. Picked up in MN and forgot to drink it for a month or two. Decent all around.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A gusher...nose is nice wheat, hay and a nice yeasty mustiness. Flavor is heavy vegetal maltiness with a lot of sweetness and an overrriding babyfood taste. The Malt asaults on the palate and very little bitter/spicy/sour to balance. Cold, it’s OK, as it warms, the sweetness and vegetable profile is overwhelming.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cloudy, golden yellow on the pour with a 1 inch head. Good carbonation holds the head. Wheaty, grassy aroma, thats not real strong. Flavor is mild, sweet, belgian yeast, and a little honey. Mouthfeel is a little rough. Burns a little on the finish. kind of an abrupt, rude finish.

22 oz. bottle acquired via trade with tennisjoel. Copper/rust colored pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, soap, and flowers. Belgian yeast flavor with a very subtle note of grassy hops. Drinkable but nothing spectacular.

2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Dark golden color, not much aroma. Standard Belgian taste to it, nothing special. Not a bad beer but not a great one in my opinion.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
9/19/2008: Flat Earth Belgian Style Pale Ale pours coppery orange with not much head. It has a spicy aroma with some sort of grain. This beer is medium-light in body and tastes toasty and lightly fruity with some biscuit. It is soft on the palate by watery. Overall it this beer is somewhat bland.
1 pint 6 fl. oz. bottle. Rating #91 for this beer.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
25 oz bottle. Pours a clear orange body with a thin fizzy white head that vanished completely fairly quickly. The nose is a little sweet for being a Belgian Pale, some honey, candi sugar, light belgian yeast, and maybe a little diacetyl. The flavor is pretty muddled, too much sweetness, not enough belgian character, and almost zero hops. That diacetyl comes out more on the finish the more it warms up. Mouthfeel is a little slick with an annoying clingy finish. A good bit of fizzy prickly carbonation. This was not good. Poor execution and obvious brewing flaws.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
22 oz. bottle. Clear copper, fleeting, small white head, no lace. Grainy aroma, some light stone fruit, and a distant floral character. Slightly watery, very little carbonation. Lightly sweet fruit flavors continue into the finish, which kind of washes out.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Surpisingly good beer that I picked up at Hutch Liqour.
I get a little bit of a bitter taste, a hint of honey and spice. Nice light flavored beer great for warm days and BBQs because it’s really a refreshing beer.
